my mother’s hand, 2013.
Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, who is my biggest fan and greatest supporter, and to all the wonderful moms and surrogate moms in the world.
The past little while has been quite busy and exciting, as the vernissage for FALLEN was last night at La Petite Mort.
I received quite a bit of press for the series, including an article in the Ottawa Citizen, online and in print, as well as an article from Ottawa Magazine’s Artful Blogger.
The series will be on view at La Petite Mort until next Thursday, May 2, but I’m very pleased to announce that the series is now available on my website as well!

Another sneak peek of one of my images from FALLEN. This show opens next Friday, April 26th, and will be on view at La Petite Mort Gallery until May 2nd.
Hope to see you at the opening next Friday, between 7-10! Check out the Facebook event here.
I’m very excited to finally announce my newest series, FALLEN, and the associated week-long show at La Petite Mort Gallery.
This series is an exploration into one of the most influential texts in modern history. This series consists of diptychs of the women of the Bible and the corresponding passage that depicts their experience. How does the depiction of women in this influential text affect our society and its views of women?
The show will run between April 26 - May 2, and the vernissage will take place on April 26th, between 7-10 pm, at La Petite Mort Gallery at 306 Cumberland st.
